Federal Reserve to Keep Interest Rates Low Until 2014
During the past three years the Federal Government has attempted to boost the U.S. economy and has kept the interest rate at an all time low. This was done in an attempt to
counter the effects of a financial crisis that has resulted in a painful recession. As of January 25, 2012, the Feds have announced that it is unlikely they will raise their interest rates until late 2014 at the earliest.
