In the metro Atlanta Real Estate market like a hound in the pantry…
About Hound Dog Real Estate
Hound Dog Real Estate is led by me, Hank Miller of the Hank Miller Team. Why the name Hound Dog? Why not?
Growing up with beagles and having three ridiculously spoiled ones now has absolutely nothing to do with real estate. But one afternoon I was watching these flea bags as the three of them tried to claim a piece of milk bone under a hutch. Anything hitting the floor, food not diligently watched or especially garbage that can be ripped apart…they’re on it just as they were with that Milk Bone. There was no chance of getting it, but their inability to focus on anything else struck me, we tend to do the same with this business. That was it; Hound Dog was a good fit, we secured a good looking nasal shot and ran with it.
A real estate transaction is likely to be the single most expensive thing people will be involved in. Many will be involved in multiple transactions and in this market, many will be in a tough financial spot. This is a critical business transaction, carelessly or casually selecting an agent for representation is puzzling. In this type of market, shouldn’t buyers and sellers ensure that their agent is experienced and competent? That can easily be done, review 7 Questions to Ask Your Agent and put them to use.
The Hound Dog supporting staff is comprised of a full time listing agent/coordinator, administrative staff and full time buyer agents that are used as needed. We maintain a very small circle of trusted mortgage professionals, inspectors, attorneys and any other experts that might be needed. EVERYONE involved in every transaction is a full time expert in their field, this market and economy is far too fluid and volatile for anything less.
Real estate has been my full time occupation since leaving the US Army in ’89. This is all I know and in a twisted way like those dogs, I enjoy the constant challenge of crashing the garbage, busting into the pantry, jumping on the table or getting up on the couch. Our success rate is far better than theirs; we have hundreds of happy clients all over metro Atlanta. Those dogs would be pot bellied pig hounds if they hit their targets like we do….

I have appraised and reviewed appraisals of thousands of homes since 1989. As one of FNMA’s main foreclosure appraisers I currently evaluate 50+- homes a month all over the Metro Atlanta area. Being immersed in the data 24/7 is not an option, having more data sources than most firms and knowing how to use it is not an option. The research background coupled with cutting edge marketing, contract expertise and procedural oversight means both buyers and sellers enjoy a huge advantage working with Hound Dog. Experience matters, don’t discover that the hard way.
